Forbes said in 2009: Stockton,CA is the most Miserable place to Live in the United States! (Commute times, income tax rates, unemployment at 20%, #1 in Foreclosures, and #5 violent crime cities.)
This week, I was Car-Jacked by a Pit Bull! He Jumped into the Company Driving School Car and Pushed My Student Driver Out the Door While Pinning me against my seat! All I could think to say was "Hey Boy, So you want to drive too, we need to take turns!" 'Stockton is also a good place to get bitten by a mean dog, or have your car stereo stolen' one blogger commented. California is so Bad that Dogs are s
tarting to get involved in Crime. Then when I thought it could not get any worse, yesterday I received an IOU from the State for my Income Tax Return because the state is in a $26 Billion Dollar Budget Deficient. Now I am unemployed, surviving day by day in this miserable cit.... no, I cannot call what God gave me bad. Through it all I have been overly blessed during this time. The enemy wants to keep us thinking that we are hopeless in our situation, to keep us down.
An evangelist told me once that when he was held hostage in a bank Robbery years ago he realized that "When my face was in the dust, all I could do is trust."
For now, I Exist by God's Grace. Like Job in the Old Testament, all is lost, but my faith and trust in God. He will turn this time into something greater, as is His nature. Until then I still witness, I still breathe, I still evangelize, I still help the homeless, the lost and the lonely.
