California Dreaming

Forbes said in 2009: Stockton,CA is the most Miserable place to Live in the United States! (Commute times, income tax rates, unemployment at 20%, #1 in Foreclosures, and #5 violent crime cities.)

This week, I was Car-Jacked by a Pit Bull! He Jumped into the Company Driving School Car and Pushed My Student Driver Out the Door While Pinning me against my seat! All I could think to say was "Hey Boy, So you want to drive too, we need to take turns!" 'Stockton is also a good place to get bitten by a mean dog, or have your car stereo stolen' one blogger commented. California is so Bad that Dogs are starting to get involved in Crime. Then when I thought it could not get any worse, yesterday I received an IOU from the State for my Income Tax Return because the state is in a $26 Billion Dollar Budget Deficient. Now I am unemployed, surviving day by day in this miserable cit.... no, I cannot call what God gave me bad. Through it all I have been overly blessed during this time. The enemy wants to keep us thinking that we are hopeless in our situation, to keep us down.

An evangelist told me once that when he was held hostage in a bank Robbery years ago he realized that "When my face was in the dust, all I could do is trust."

For now, I Exist by God's Grace. Like Job in the Old Testament, all is lost, but my faith and trust in God. He will turn this time into something greater, as is His nature. Until then I still witness, I still breathe, I still evangelize, I still help the homeless, the lost and the lonely.

New Year's Resolutions . . .

We have been created in the Image of God. Not necessary in Form (except Jesus), but definitely in BODY, SOUL & SPIRIT. The New Testament attests to this Fact in 1 Thessalonians 5:23. In order for there to be growth, unity & balance in your life you need to daily make sure all these elements are exercised or in place for a HOLY life. It may be hard hard to you at first, but eventually it will get natural, easier and neccasry to face your day.

I do this: while I Exercise the (Body) on the treadmill, I read the word of God (Soul); devotions, etc. Then later that day I pray (Spirit). Doing a little daily helps develop that relationship with God and makes one a better person as God desires.

Moral of this Story: Are you up to this challenge? God requires it of you . . .

God's Calling Plan . . .

This Morning I awoke. 30 Minutes Later I was sick to my stomach. It was not a normal stress related feeling, but a worse, disaster feeling. I could not move, I hurt. I felt a heavy burden on my body and sought the only answer I knew; Prayer. I did not know what to pray for and went down the list, but the pain was still there. So I prayed for God to intervene on whatever was about to take place. 3 hours later I walked downstairs. The Brazilian Station was reporting a crash in New York. I quickly turned to CNN to hear the details (I don't have Fox News Yet). A plane just crash landed on water and avoided the City. All 155 passengers survived. A baby survived! Tears began to fall. I understood and the joy quickly swept in. Praise God!

Did God Call Upon You Today to Intervene in Prayer?
If Not, What thought or issue was causing you to not hear his Call?

Where Did Superman Go?

We have heard it said we all want a Hero. In Actuality, we don't if all is well in our lives. This comes from the carnal nature within. We want to do things ourselves. The more I try to help people, the more they resist or turn it against me. So I watch and wait for a Crisis moment to happen so that I can intervene as God directs. When Superman died and left us in the early 1990's, we cried for his return. If we don't listen to Godly Messengers sent to help us, then don't we cry out to God for help when we are soon at a hopeless end? God says "HELLO! I tried..." The Bible is full of stories like these. There truly is nothing New Under The Sun, even in today's world!

Moral of this Story:
God Made those to assist us in our earthly quest, listen to them with an open heart...for their advice my save your career, family or LIFE!

The Arrogance of God . . .

The Following is A Philosophical thought:
I was thinking about thinking one day. This is known to people as Philosophy.

The Bible is specific about God being the ONLY ONE & TRUE GOD, and they are no others. The other god's mentioned in the Bible are Demons taking on these forms for their own worship. The question is .. WHO created God? Our finite minds need a beginning and end. God is outside of our knowledge and has no end, nor beginning, as so He proclaims. Many people believe that God is not alone that there are other gods. So I entertained that thought for a moment, Could God not Be alone? What I came to understand was this . . .

1) God Says That He is the Only One, If this is not True then God would be a Lier, Right? We know that Lieing is a SIN. So if God Lies, then He would be a sinner. But we see God as perfect. God has never sinned, or this could be used against Him on judgement day. 2) We also know that sin manifests. IF God Lied, then the sin would have manifested and the Earth would be more like the Earth from Mythology, or a world of total Chaos (Like in the Movies). One sin leads to another and God would continue to sin. Sin is destructive and the world God created would have falled apart at its seams. All based on a lie. So we can see that this is not happening today. Therefore, God Did not Lie, He is not arrogant and what He says is true! So if God is Perfect, which means He cannot lie, then there must only be ONE GOD!

We also know that we exist because (See KANT) because we think. So then were is our origins? Either by Evolution or Creationism. With Evidence of Evolution being non existent and more world evidence for the unseen God, Therefore, We must have been Created.

Conclusion:
There is One God and He Exists! So are you following Him today?

He Never Promised You A Rose Garden . . .

God has a plan. Man decides what the plan should be and messes it up. When man circumvents what God has set in motion, then chaos erupts. A promise to remember is this . . . God promises to take what is wrong and make it better. Whether it is by our own omission or others that make controlled decisions about our lives. Though we cry out "have faith!", that is easier said on the outside looking in, as the hurting still suffer while they wait upon the Lord. God has to then reset and readjust his plans; then take action (which may take while to set things up) and give out a new commission (See Story of Elijah). When God plants you somewhere, you need to grow. Sometimes a thief harvests you before it is your time. But God will steal you back and plant you in a better Garden in which you will prosper. Those that take from God will pay the just price for their actions!

Moral of this story . . .
Sometimes punching out your adversaries won't stop their actions.
